Day 01 •
Airport •••••••➤••••••• Kandy

On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will be there for you. Meet him and start driving to Kandy.

Sri Lanka will arrive at Kandy via the modernized Kolaba to Kandy road built by the British government during the colonial period of Sri Lanka.

During this trip you will have the opportunity to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. This elephant orphanage is specially set up for baby elephants that are abandoned, injured or helpless due to human activities. Here they are reared and trained to become animals that live a normal life. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see the animal up close.

After your pinnawala tour, transfer to your hotel in Kandy, check in and enjoy a city tour upon your arrival. In the afternoon, visit the Kandy lake circle and spend some free time with the natural beauty. Visit Sri Dalada Palace and join the Buddhists who worship the Buddha’s Sri Dalada, dressed in white.

Spend the evening in the city center close to the temple, watching an unforgettable display of traditional upland dance with its vibrantly colorful dancers and musicians.

 

 

Day 02 •
Kandy •••••••➤••••••• Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast on the second morning, today you will climb the green hills surrounding Kandy to the highest point above sea level in Sri Lanka along some of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful roads. In this journey, you can experience the complete change of Sri Lanka’s climate within a few hours. The most beautiful and magical region of Sri Lanka that produces the best tea in Sri Lanka, the hills will amaze you.

But before you leave, stop by the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens outside Kandy for the history of tea.

Peradeniya is the birthplace of Ceylon tea, where the first plants were brought from China in 1824. Twenty-eight years later, Scottish planter James Taylor established the first saplings on an eight-hectare estate at Lulkondera Estate, between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. It was his success in cultivating Nuwara Eliya that made it the center of the Sri Lankan tea industry.

With its cool climate, cool air, stunning waterfalls and a thriving tea, coffee and rubber culture, the allure of these hills, inhabited by a beautiful and loving people, has to be seen to be believed. A drive to Sri Lanka’s “Little England” is a highlight of any visit to Sri Lanka. You’ll take winding roads through beautifully lush plantations, past regularly pruned tea bushes that look like green sculptures stretching up and down misty mountain peaks as far as the eye can see. Enjoy your ride – this is the total experience.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and continue to check into your hotel.

After warming your body with a cup of tea in your hand enjoying your surroundings and the pleasant change in temperature, spend your day enjoying the beautiful tourist spots.

 

Day 03 •

Nuwara Eliya

Today you will have the opportunity to meet Sri Lankan tea industry experts who will show you the lush tea plantations of the central hills and explain the fine art and intricacies of Sri Lanka’s tea business.

A free evening spent in Nuwara Eliya gives you the perfect opportunity to play a round of golf.

Visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, take a tour of Horton Place, gaze upon the grandeur of the Adisham Bungalow, and make an evening in Nuwara Eliya the most glamorous evening of your life.

Nuwara Eliya is another destination that can be explored on foot to soak up its charm and the serenity of the environment.

Sightseeing and a boat ride on Lake Gregory in Victoria Park.

Visit the Sita Amman Hindu temple associated with the Ramayana.

Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya Hotel.

 

Day 04 •

Nuwara Eliya •••••••➤••••••• Bentota

After breakfast we start the journey to Vadduwa via Kitulgala. See the world famous St. Clair and Devon Falls.

In the middle of this trip, you can arrange for white water rafting at Kitulgala (between Nuwara Eliya-Bentota) which will surely be a different kind of experience for you. Kitulgala Water Rafting is a series of adventure activities that appeal to both local and foreign visitors.

Day 05 •

Bentota •••••••➤••••••• Colombo •••••••➤••••••• Airport

After breakfast we start the journey to Colombo city.

Take a ride around the city of Colombo, see important contemporary designs and go shopping. You will see the famous Bandaranaike International Memorial Hall. Walukarama Temple, Municipal Council, Museum. By shopping at several traditional and non-traditional shopping malls unique to Sri Lanka, you can collect many important souvenirs at a reasonable price. Especially Sri Lankan traditional handicrafts.

Visit Liberty Plaza, Majestic City, Arena, etc. “Pitakotuwa Bazaar”.
Transfer to the airport in time to check in for your flight back home with precious memories and souvenirs collected from the Pearl of the Indian Ocean (Sri Lanka).
